Who we are

DSLink is an independent product. We run the link service at dslink.me, the DSLink iPhone app and the free tools on this site: the deep link generators, the Link in Bio builder, the QR code generator, the UTM builder and the link checker.

The guides are written for the people who use these tools, by the people who build them, and are signed DSLink Team. Before an article is published, its technical claims are checked against how DSLink actually behaves and against the platforms' own documentation.

How we test

  • Real devices. Links in our guides are opened on current iPhone and Android phones, from inside the apps people actually share them in: Instagram, TikTok, Telegram, WhatsApp, YouTube and others.
  • Both platforms, both states. We check what happens when the target app is installed and when it is not, because the fallback is where most links fail.
  • Honest limits. When something does not work, we say so. For example, Facebook links open the app only on Android, and AliExpress and Wildberries links open the product web page on iPhone.

Sources we rely on

Technical statements are checked against primary documentation: Apple Developer documentation for Universal Links and URL schemes, Android Developers for App Links and intents, Google Search Central for redirects and search, the IETF RFCs for HTTP and URLs, and the official help centres of each platform we write about. Each article lists its sources at the end.

Updates and corrections

Apps change how they handle links without notice, so we revisit guides when a platform changes behaviour and update the date at the top of the article. If you find a mistake or a link that no longer behaves the way we describe, write to support@dslink.me or use the contact form. We fix confirmed errors and note significant changes in the article.

DSLink is our own product, and our guides recommend it where it fits. Comparison pages describe other tools from their public documentation and pricing pages at the time of writing; check the vendor's site for current terms.
